Software make lightsaber effects

Once you have the outline done on the top tool bar go to select, from path. This will make a dotted line around the outline. Now take the fill bucket and fill the blade outline to white. Now go to select, none and the dotted line will go away. The Gaussian Blur is the affect that I use to make the blade look like it is glowing.

You will need to make a blur effect on all three layers of the blade but at different levels. The picture below will help out with this step. First make sure the bottom blade layer is selected.

Now on the top tool bar select Filter, Blur, Gaussian Blur and a new window will open. In this window there are numbers that you can change to control how blurry the blade will be. The reason for the three copies of the layer is that you start will a small blur then get bigger with the other layers. In picture three it shows where the numbers are to change.

Start out with a low number like 20 for both of the fields then click ok. You will see a small difference in the blade. Repeat this step with the other two layers and increase the numbers to 40 then on the last one. Once you have the blur effect in you need to combine the three layers.

You do this by merging them. Select the top layer and right click on it to bring up a menu. Click on Merge Down. Again don't panic with what this does. You just need to do the same thing as the last time the pic went black as shown in pic 2 below. Click on the drop down box and select addition. You have now combined the two top layers. Do this again so that all three blade layers are one. Now comes the best part. You now get to decide what color you want to make it. Make sure that the one saber layer is selected.

Then, after exporting, bring the exported video file into Rebaslight to add the final special effects like lasers and muzzle flash. Pay here. It saves automatically. Next time you open Rebaslight it'll pick up right where you left off. Rebaslight works best with video that is intended for the web HTML5 video, either. If your file is not supported, Rebaslight gives you an option to try converting it to. Another option is to export it as an HTML5 video from a standard video editor.

Then import that file to Rebaslight to add the final effects. Here are the instructions how to enable JavaScript in your web browser. How to make Lightsaber special effects! Get started on your movie now!

Other impressive special effects Lightning Do you fingers have the power to shoot lightning? Next, mask and keyframe the solid so that it surrounds the motion blur of the lightsaber from your reference footage. Try to keep your mask to only four points. If you use more than four, you might begin to get confused about which part is supposed to be at the base of the lightsaber and which part is supposed to be at the top of the lightsaber.

By using four mask points, you can keep the exact same points at the top and bottom throughout the entire animation. To do this, create a new solid and mask out the areas where your lightsaber should be behind your subject. Position your masking layer above your lightsaber layer and change the track matte to Alpha Inverted.

This will automatically hide your masking layer in your timeline and create a hole where your subject should be. Precompose both your alpha mask and your lightsaber layer. The two that I use every time are Fast Blur and Glow. After you add your stylization effects, simply turn your transfer mode to Screen and adjust any of your effects as needed.
