Garfield defense game cheats

One trick in this game will help you very easily beat enemies using nobody but Garfield. The trick is to, as soon as Garfield attacks, tap either to his left or to his right.

Now that you know this, try to save your cookies to upgrade Garfield and his weapon as your first priority. The general consensus is that for a "tank"-like character who can take a huge amount of damage, it's well worth spending cookies on upgrading Nermal. She might not look particularly intimidating but her huge health pool can really make the difference in a heavy swarm of enemies. The popcorn machine provides the "currency" you use to summon in Garfield's friends, so it's important to maintain a decent level of these resources for when you really need them, typically later on in a level.

Later in the game, you'll want to have a lot of popcorn in the bank so you can bring Orson into play as soon as possible. If you don't mind a little randomness in your summoning, making use of the trumpet means you'll get an occasional summon or heal out of the blue. With his tough shell as armor, he charges forward with all his might using his head.
